| This is basically a self portrait incorporating all of
my personalities into one. As a musician, I constantly get guff because
I can't be pigeonholed- I sometimes play rockabilly, sometimes surf, punk,
metal, country, psychedelia, etc etc etc. Sometimes I'm into hot rods,
other times my passions lie in art or music. I'm all over the map and
don't particularly see a problem with it, but others do. I. however, refuse
to be labeled and that is what this little cartoon is about-a greaser
looking for the third eye of enlightenment, a Von Dutch flying eyeball
with a sitar-which I also play-overlooking the whole scene. Me holding
my Lonnie Mac flying V with a bigsby....a guitar that can cover all my
stylistic bases. It's all here, if you know what to look for. Welllll...
except for my electric cello...ELO anyone? |
